· Create an exercise circuit taking into account the infrastructure of the center and adapted to the different needs of users (patients, relatives and companions).
· Promote the practice of physical exercise and identify it as beneficial.
· To facilitate the active participation in the recovery process of the users of the center.Material and methodsOnce the reality of the center has been analyzed and we knew wich are the most frequent problems of behaviour, environment and healthy lifestyles that hinder the continuous practice of physical exercise, and also which are the factors that predispose, facilitate and reinforce it, we designed and installed a "Healthy Circuit" of 6 stations, organized between floors 0 and 1 of the center, taking advantage of the architecture and with the support of information panels and brochures at each station.ResultsWe have been able to measure the functional improvement of the users, and their degree of satisfaction before and after the installation and implementation of the circuit, carrying out a retrospective and comparative study, in an educational intervention. The implementation of our "Healthy Circuit" has allowed us to find out which are the behavioural problems, environment and healthy lifestyles that hinder the continuous practice of physical exercise and what are also the factors that predispose, facilitate and reinforce them.ConclusionsBy comparing the results of the Barthel Index of the users three months after starting the circuit, we have measured the positive impact of the intervention. We also used surveys to assess the design, motivation, usefulness and accessibility of the intervention. At the same time, we have been promoting physical activity within the social health center.
