Abstract: Anatomical models are used to test the effect of manual techniques. Sometimes, these models are questioned because they do not present characteristics such as contractile capacities, blood circulation, or even elastic properties similar to those of the live model. We have not found any study comparing the effect of distraction on the tibiotarsal joint (anatomical model) versus a live model.
