Abstract: During the presentation, there will be a current review of the concepts of persistent Covid and the different approaches to its management with special attention to the author's original proposal, published in Medical Hypotheses, Vol. 62, May 2022. In addition, a narrative review of the added value that physiotherapy can provide in the different subtypes of sequelae and/or persistence of symptoms derived from COVID will be carried out, as well as the early identification or suspicion of post-exertional malaise, based on what has been learned. of other postviral syndromes Some experiences will be presented in the first persistent Covid units in public centers and how patient schools and expert patients have generated traction for the clinical characterization and phenotyping of the syndrome, with special attention to caution and pacing as an alternative measure. to gradual therapeutic exercise from physiotherapy, in the non-responder subtype to physiotherapy.
Abstract : Durante la ponencia se realizará un repaso actual sobre los conceptos de COVID persistente y los distintos enfoques de su manejo con especial atención a la propuesta original del autor, publicada en Medical Hypotheses, Vol. 62, May 2022. Además, se realizará una revisión narrativa del valor añadido que la fisioterapia puede aportar en los distintos subtipos de secuelas y/o persistencia de sÃntomas derivados de la COVID, asà como la identificación precoz o sospecha del malestar post-esfuerzo, en base a lo aprendido de otros sÃndromes posvirales. Se presentará algunas experiencias en las primeras unidades es de COVID persistente en centros públicos y como las escuelas de pacientes y los pacientes expertos han generado una tracción para la caracterización clÃnica y fenotipado del sÃndrome, con especial atención en la cautela y el pacing como medida alternativa al ejercicio terapéutico gradual desde fisioterapia, en el subtipo no respondedor a fisioterapia.

Resumen
Durante la ponencia se realizará un repaso actual sobre los conceptos de COVID persistente y los distintos enfoques de su manejo con especial atención a la propuesta original del autor, publicada en Medical Hypotheses, Vol. 62, May 2022.
Además, se realizará una revisión narrativa del valor añadido que la fisioterapia puede aportar en los distintos subtipos de secuelas y/o persistencia de síntomas derivados de la COVID, así como la identificación precoz o sospecha del malestar post-esfuerzo, en base a lo aprendido de otros síndromes posvirales.
